MONDAY VLOG W/ ANIMA MUNDI HERBALS + GREEN SMOOTHIE, ADAPTOGENIC TAHINI CHAI TEA LATTE AND KOMBUCHA HAPPINESS DRINK

After a couple of high intensity weeks I'm back home for two weeks and it feels great. It took me this weekend but I'm finally posting my Monday vlog in collaboration with Anima Mundi Herbals and I'm very excited for you to see it. When they approached me and suggested we work together I was thrilled, I love their sleek look and golden company values. They care where their products come from and that is so lovely.Read more

PLUM AND ALMOND CAKE (GLUTEN-FREE)

Greetings from my health coaching course meeting. I'm taking a break from studying this morning to share a new recipe with you. With sleepy eyes and a brain full of whirling thoughts on health, hormones and a beckoning oral presentation I'm savouring this moment to connect with you before it's all go, go, go again. It gets better too because this post is all about cake. Plum cake to be exact. I started developing this recipe when we where in the high season for plums and I know that time is long gone here in Sweden but I'm hopingit's plum season somewhere in the world, haha.Read more

PEANUT BUTTER HOT POT W/ WINTER VEGETABLES + CHICKPEAS

I'm back home and thoroughly enjoyed preparing this post for you this morning at my own desk, in my own living room, sitting on my own share. There is just something about being home that is so soothing and brings so much comfort. So from this cosy place I bring you a dlicious winter warming recipe for a peanut butter hot pot that was on repeat before we left for Dubai about ten days ago. It has some of my favourite autumn winter vegetables and chickpeas which make it a filling and very nourishing dish for those cold nights.Read more

THREE PLACES I LOVE IN MALMÖ + VLOG

Rob and I have lived in Sweden for over a year now and I thought it's about time that I give you some tips on where to go if you ever visit. We live about a one hour drive away from Malmö which is Sweden's third largest city and we've visited the sea side city quite a lot since moving over. Even though Malmö is the third largest city it's not very big, it's proportionate to the country I guess, and houses roughly 330 000 people. It's way larger than our little village but still not anywhere near the size of London where we used to live. Either way we love visiting and enjoying the cafes, restaurants and shops available to us there. And a perk of the size of Malmö is that you can walk around the central parts which we really enjoy. I think renting a bike would be another great way to get around the city. As we were walking around Malmö on our self-proclaimed day off and filming this vlog I thought I should list three of the places I love in Malmö for you. If you enjoy this post please let me know and I'll do more Malmö related posts, there are loads more spots that I could share with you. So, here goes the first one.Read more

WALNUT DUKKAH

I'm back in Dubai (for more work) and what better time than now to share this simple but impactful recipe for walnut dukkah? None I tell you. This nut, seed and spice mix is a take on a classic Middle Eastern recipe and brings lots of flavour to your salads, soups, buddha bowls, houmous and whatever else you can sprinkle it onto. The toasted walnuts, sesame seeds and spices really do take things to a whole new flavour universe.Read more

WEEKEND IN DUBAI VLOG

Some of you who subscribe to my youtube channel have been asking for more videos since I started posting only every other weekend. I try my best to hear you and share as much as possible so here's another vlog of what I've been up to lately. Rob and I went to Dubai for work and so I thought why not a Dubai vlog? It's short and sweet and shows two main events on our weekend off; a road trip to Abu Dhabi and Saadiyat Island public beach and a delish brunch at Wild and the Moon. My favourite spot for vegan food in Dubai which I wrote a whole post about here.Read more

Roasted Vegetable Tray with Yogurt and Tahini Sauce

It's a crazy old autumn in my life. I have so much work and studying going on these last and coming few weeks that I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. If you're missing me on social media at the moment this is why. I hope you guys understand and I'm hoping to use my new skills, from my studies to become a dietary and health coach, here and on my other platforms in the new year so there is something in it for you as well. I'm learning so much and really having the best time. It's incredible how much easier it is to study when it's something you really have a passion for and when you're a little bit older as well. I'm not that old yet but I feel that this time around I have some experiences that actually serve me in my studies.Read more

COPENHAGEN ROAD TRIP VLOG + EXCITING NEWS

Guys! You're reading the words of a future yoga retreat chef. In May next year, 2018, I'll be joining Faye of Wildest Yoga in Møn, Denmark, for a weekend full of cooking delish vegan food for hungry yoginis. In the video Faye and I visit the retreat centre and it was so much fun seeing where I'll be cooking, the yoga shala and our guests and ourselves will be living for the weekend. I've included some more photos of the place a little further down in this post as well.Read more

PUMPKIN LATTE + PUMPKIN SPICE

While I'm sipping on fresh mint tea and downing several litres of water in a hot Dubai I want to share this perfect autumn hot drink with you all. It's pumpkin latte spiced with all that yumness that is pumpkin spice. I'll be sharing how to make both in the recipe below. Although I made my own addition to the pumpkin spice and that's cardamom which seems fitting as I'm in the Middle East.Read more

WHITE BEAN HOUMOUS W/ RAS EL HANOUT ROASTED CAULIFLOWER

It's Saturday evening and I'm getting ready to travel to Dubai for work in the morning but I want to share this white bean houmous with ras el hanout roasted cauliflower before I head off into new adventures. The recipe is one that we make on a regular basis to use in buddha bowls, as a spread or dip or as a big sharing plate for friends with other Middle Eastern inspired dishes as you can see in the images.Read more

BAKED POLENTA W/ FRESH TOMATO SALSA + AVOCADO

A little late but here is a new recipe for ya'll. Maybe you don't even really think about it but I try to post every Saturday. Did you notice this? Anyway this weekend was a slow one and so was the week leading up to it. The seasonal change, grey and cold along with some killer PMS set me up for quite the week, haha. Sometimes life just comes at you sideways, much worse for some than these things I deal with I should add, and it has to be alright to take a few days to steer back on track. It is often hard to accept this for me, and I'm sure for many of you. It can be difficult to scrap those plans you've been making to just take it very easy but sometimes that's needed. It'll pay off in the long run I think. What are your thoughts on this guys?Read more

VEGAN IN LONDON: A LATE SUMMER TRIP

In mid September my sister and I flew to London where we met up with Rob. We spent a week gallivanting about town eating a lot of yummy food and other fun things. For the first time in my life I held a tiny little baby for example, just six weeks. She was a cutie and we are very proud of our friends, her parents, who seem to have slid very comfortably into their new roles in life. We also met up with Olga of @oruga_san and her family which is always a pleasure. In the end I think we ate at Cook Daily three times in one week and that's how much I love their coco ginger bowl, although this never made the video unfortunately. I thought I'd list a few places that did though in case you want some inspiration for spots to hit when in London. And if you haven't seen them before, here are my other posts all about where I like to go in London; the big and a couple of years old one and the smaller one which adds to the first one. In these guides you'll find all the places that are in the video but not on the new list.Read more
