Everyone needs a yummy on the go breakfast and this could be it you guys! I love bircher as it’s so creamy and delicious with a bit of tang from the yogurt and sweetness from the apple. This version is not very sweet so feel free to swap some of the oat milk for some apple juice if you prefer it sweeter. You can also add in more or other seeds like pumpkin or hemp as well as shredded coconut if you enjoy the flavour. You can also change things up in the spice department. It’s really yummy with some grated ginger or extra lemon juice for example. In other words it’s a versatile mixture that you can make your own. Bircher Muesli

Serves 4-6


2 cups porridge oats

0,3 cup sunflower seeds

0,3 cup flax seeds

0,5 tsp ground cardamom and/or 1 tsp cinnamon

2 cups oat milk, or any other plant milk of choice

1 cup unsweetened plant yogurt, I used soy

2 apples, grated

0,25 cup apple sauce, optional
